The talk from the Spring 2009 event has finally been posted. The talk was on compassion and was given my Matt Rogers.

You can download it here.

Also, some of you may have noticed the website theme is still broken (which is indicated, in part, by the talks page having disappeared and the store not really being anywhere). The embedded audio player is broken to. These are on the list of things to fix. If you know Wordpress and like to volunteer to do things (and also are a fan of Jesus), let us know. We have things you can do…

Several people have asked so we wanted to make sure you all were aware.  We do have the talk, but not in an online-ready format yet.  This should be posted soon.  When it is, we’ll update the website with appropriate links.

Hey All!

The vtONE Spring 2009 Worship Event will be held in the Squires Commonwealth Ballroom next Saturday, February 21st at 8pm (after the Kirk Franklin Concert).

vtONE is partnering with The Rescue Mission of Roanoke. They served over 317,000 meals to people in need last year. Right now, they have a need for Peanut Butter and Jelly. Let’s reach out as a community and help them feed the hungry. If you are able, please bring a jar of peanut butter or jelly to the event. All jars will be donated to the Rescue Mission (www.rescuemission.net).

Hope you can join us!

- Cannons (Phil Whickham)
- You Are So Good to Me (Third Day)

Song Set #2:

- Obsession (Crowder)/Stars (Crowder)
- Unashamed Love (Ten Shekel Shirt)

Song Set #3:

Hopefully you will see many of these songs on an upcoming vtONE worship CD.  We’ll keep you posted!

Thank you all for making it out to this past worship event!  Even though it was in the middle of the afternoon, we appreciate the effort you made to make it out and join us in fellowship.

In case you were wondering, our next worship event is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, in Commonwealth Ballroom.  Time is TBA but since there is no football game to conflict with, chances are it will be at or around 7pm.  Hope you can join us then!

The talk given by Darrell Cook at the fall 2008 event is now available online.  You can download it in MP3 format here or from the talks page.

Welcome back!  Our fall worship event will be on September 27, 2008, in Commonwealth Ballroom.  The time is TBA, because there is the Nebraska football game that day and the time of the game hasn’t been announced yet.  Keep checking this site the week of the event to find out what time we’re getting together!

For the 4 of you who keep tabs on this thing, the theme is back (in English too) and the character set issue is fixed.

That’s right! For a few minutes today, the vtONE website (template) was in German.  It was a lot of fun.  Also, all spaces and line breaks have been messed up for a while.  That’s fixed too.

Stay tuned for updates on the next event…

Some of you may have noticed that the website was down earlier today.  Long story short, you all can blame me for being a bad webmaster.  That said it makes a wonderful excuse for a website redesign (that and it ate the template we had here previously).  Stay tuned for updates.
